Modified Rapid PAP Stain Kit is a rapid, differential cytological staining system designed for gynecological and non-gynecological cytology smears. It provides clear nuclear staining with distinctive cytoplasmic differentiation, supporting routine cytological screening and microscopic evaluation.
The formulation is designed to provide efficient staining with reduced processing time while maintaining the characteristic polychromatic appearance of Papanicolaou staining.

The Modified Rapid PAP Stain uses a sequence of nuclear staining, differentiation and cytoplasmic counterstaining to produce the characteristic multicolored appearance of Papanicolaou-stained cells.
The hematoxylin component provides detailed nuclear staining. Controlled differentiation removes excess nuclear stain to enhance nuclear clarity. The cytoplasmic staining system provides differential shades to help distinguish cellular types, maturation patterns and cytoplasmic characteristics.
The resulting contrast between nuclei and cytoplasm facilitates microscopic assessment of cellular morphology.
