  • Standard Bone Marrow Decalcifier is the Gold Standard for Bone Marrow Trephine Biopsy, it is a gentle, chelation-based decalcifying agent considered the Standard of Care for Bone Marrow Trephine Biopsy decalcification worldwide. Unlike harsh acid decalcifiers, it removes calcium without damaging delicate hematopoietic cells, DNA, RNA, or antigens.
  • It is a ready-to-use, pH-balanced (pH 7.0-7.2) solution specifically optimized for faster yet safe decalcification of bone marrow cores. It is the preferred choice for labs that require high-quality morphology with full compatibility for Immunohistochemistry (IHC), FISH, and Molecular testing.
  • Ideal For: Bone Marrow Trephine Biopsy, Bone Biopsy, Bone Marrow Clot with bony spicules.
  • 40% faster than conventional 10% EDTA – Reduces TAT from 72 hrs to 12-36 hrs
  • Neutral pH 7.0-7.2: Zero acid damage, zero over-decalcification risk.
  • Ready-to-Use & Filtered: 0.22 micron filtered, no powder dissolving, no pH adjustment, no precipitation
  • IHC, FISH & Molecular Friendly: 100% preservation of CD34, CD117, MPO, CD138, CD20, CD3 and all other markers. Compatible with PCR and NGS.
  • Superior Morphology: Excellent preservation of M:E ratio, megakaryocytes, and bony trabeculae. Perfect Reticulin and Trichrome staining.
  • Safe & Odorless: Non-corrosive, non-fuming, non-toxic compared to acid decalcifiers. Improves lab safety.
  • Lot-to-Lot Consistency: Factory-manufactured with QC tested on actual bone marrow samples.
  • Available Packs: 500ml, 1 Liter, 5 Liter (Pre-filled biopsy containers on request)
The Chelation Principle does not dissolve bone like acids. It works by smart chelation.

  • Calcium Capture: EDTA molecule binds to calcium ions present in the bone trabeculae and forms a stable, soluble calcium-EDTA complex.
  • Gentle Removal: This complex is washed away, slowly softening the bony tissue from outside to inside.
  • No Acid Damage: Because the pH remains neutral (7.0-7.2), there is no hydrolysis of proteins or nucleic acids. Cellular architecture, nuclear chromatin, and antigens remain 100% intact.
This is why CAP, NABL, and WHO guidelines recommend EDTA over Formic Acid or Nitric Acid for bone marrow.
  • For Pathologists :
    1. Get artifact-free, well-spread marrow with crisp nuclear details and strong IHC expression. Avoid false negatives caused by acid decalcifiers. Confident diagnosis of Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma, MDS, and Metastasis.
  • For Lab Technicians :
    1. Ready-to-use liquid – just pour and use. No weighing of EDTA powder, no NaOH adjustment. Gentle agitation protocol with clear end-point checking.
  • For Hospitals & Labs:
    1. Faster reports, fewer repeat biopsies, and full compliance with NABL/CAP standards. One solution for both routine H&E and advanced IHC testing.
